Imam Shariq Khan has led the Friday Prayers (Jumma) at the Bradford Islamic Community Centre since 2018 in a volunteer capacity. He also teaches Tafseer, Hadith, Aqida, Fiqh and Arabic at the centre.His commitment to the Islamic sciences began during his years in university when he started studying with local scholars in Toronto. After graduating, and earning a Masters of Engineering Science, he travelled throughout the Muslim world seeking sacred knowledge. Imam Shariq was blessed with opportunities to study at various prestigious institutions such as Damascus University in Syria, the University of al-Qarawiyyin in Morocco, and SunniPath Academy in Jordan.In addition to his volunteer work at BICC, Imam Shariq teaches and leads prayers at a number of masjids in Barrie and the GTA. He also works as a Mechanical Engineering Professor at Georgian College.

Our centre offers Arabic classes every Thursday at 6:00pm to 7:30pm, exclusively for females aged 12 and up. For inquiries, please contact us at 416-357-6380

Marriage/Nikkah

Reach out to our licensed Nikkah/Marriage Officiant, Imam Shariq Khan, at 647-974-3715 for assistance with marriage ceremonies.

Funeral
